1.0 Wessex Nail Academy collects, processes and stores the following personal information and data stated in section 2.0 for the following reasons, to be able to contact potential students and students for the purpose of training course management, to insure the services provided to students of Wessex Nail Academy by Wessex Nail Academy, to insure Wessex Nail Academy training salon, to comply with data storage age restrictions, to comply with service provision age restrictions, to manage service provision relating to medical conditions, to order product, to provide the requested service to Wessex Nail Academy’s students.

2.0 A student of The Wessex Nail Academy, or potential student of The Wessex Nail Academy will be asked by The Wessex Nail Academy to provide the following personal information and data, First name and surname, home phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, Emergency contact name and phone number, Ethnic origin, name and date of course requested, any previous beauty nail qualifications (yes or no)…if yes state qualification, if model required their name and contact details, how student of The Wessex Nail Academy would like name to appear on any certificates awarded for successful course completion, this information can be asked for by The Wessex Nail Academy to be entered on the course booking form on The Wessex Nail Academy web site, via e-mail, telephone or face to face.

3.0 Wessex Nail Academy collects personal information or data of potential students or students face to face, via the telephone, via the Wessex Nail Academy’s course booking form and via e mail.

The personal information and data relating to their custom of Wessex Nail Academy that is not required to be retained for 7 years by Wessex Training Academy for insurance purposes will then be deleted after Wessex Nail Academy has sent a confirmation e mail of the deletion of their personal information and data from Wessex Nail Academy data storage and hard copy files within a 72 hour period of the time and date of the confirmation e-mail being sent. Wessex Nail Academy can only process these requests received between 9am Monday until 5pm Friday and elapsed time is counted on working days of the week only Monday to Friday. Wessex Nail Academy cannot initiate any request whilst the business is closed due to weekend non working, holiday, sickness or any other unknown situation which forces or requires business closure.

13.0 Students of Wessex Nail Academy wishing to stop being a student of Wessex Nail Academy should send an e-mail to sarahtnw@gmx.com , telephone 01258 863854 or ask face to face at the salon, requesting the removal of their custom from Wessex Nail Academy’s client list. The personal information and data relating to their custom of Wessex Nail Academy will then be stored until 7 years from the students last payment for a service to have elapsed, this being an insurance requirement of insuring the services provided by Wessex Nail Academy to students of Wessex Nail Academy, after 7 years the the personal information and data relating to their custom of Wessex Nail Academy will then be deleted after Wessex Nail Academy has sent a confirmation e mail of the removal of their personal information and data from Wessex Nail Academy data storage and hard copy files within a 72 hour period of the time and date of the confirmation e-mail being sent. Wessex Nail Academy can only process these requests received between 9am Monday until 5pm Friday and elapsed time is counted on working days of the week only Monday to Friday. Wessex Nail Academy cannot initiate any request whilst the business is closed due to weekend non working, holiday, sickness or any other unknown situation which forces or requires business closure.

14.0 Students of Wessex Nail Academy can request that their personal information and data relating to their custom of Wessex Nail Academy not be processed in any way should send an e-mail to sarahtnw@gmx.com requesting that their data relating to their custom of Wessex Nail Academy is no longer to be processed, it will still be stored but not processed for any purpose then Wessex Nail Academy will send a confirmation e mail to the requesting student within a 72 hour period of the time and date of the requesting e-mail being received. Wessex Nail Academy can only process these requests received between 9am Monday until 5pm Friday and elapsed time is counted on working days of the week only Monday to Friday. Wessex Nail Academy cannot initiate any request whilst the business is closed due to weekend non working, holiday, sickness or any other unknown situation which forces or requires business closure.

15.0 Students of Wessex Nail Academy wishing to know what personal information or data is being held about them by Wessex Nail Academy should send an e-mail to sarahtnw@gmx.com requesting to know what personal information or data is being held about them by Wessex Nail Academy. Wessex Nail Academy will then ask for proof of identification before this personal information is released within a 72 hour period of the time and date of the proof of identification being validated by Wessex Nail Academy. Wessex Nail Academy can only process these requests received between 9am Monday until 5pm Friday and elapsed time is counted on working days of the week only Monday to Friday. 2.0 By requesting to subscribe to be a student of Wessex Nail Academy, a person will be instructing Wessex Nail Academy to collect the following personal information and data “Name first and surname, home phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, Emergency contact name and phone number, Ethnic origin, name and date of course requested, any previous beauty nail qualifications (yes or no)…if yes state qualification, if model required their name and contact details, how student of The Wessex Nail Academy would like name to appear on any certificates awarded for successful course completion“, via e-mail, telephone or face to face.

By providing this personal information and data a person is giving Wessex Nail Academy their consent This consent means the person has chosen to OPT-IN for their personal information and data stated in the paragraph above to be collected, processed and stored for the duration of their remaining a student of Wessex Nail Academy or until they request the personal information and data’s deletion which will have the effect to end their ability to remain a student of Wessex Nail Academy.

4.0 If a person does do not wish this personal information and data to be collected, processed and stored by Wessex Nail Academy then THEY SHOULD NOT request to be a student of Wessex Nail Academy’s. 5.0 Wessex Nail Academy will be working under the instruction of a student of Wessex Nail Academy to contact them to book or re book appointments or course dates, or discuss their service requirement or discuss known allergies or other relevant health conditions or patch test results, or model availability and model requirements, they will not be contacted for marketing purposes.

6.0 Wessex Nail Academy will store students or potential students of Wessex Nail Academy personal data collected relating to being a student or potential student of Wessex Nail Academy for the duration of their continued custom or potential custom of Wessex Nail Academy, or until 7 years from the students completion of their last training course provided by Wessex Nail Academy to have elapsed, this being an insurance requirement of insuring the training services provided by Wessex Nail Academy to students of Wessex Nail Academy and their models if a student uses a models upon their course.
